A woman in her mid 50’s presented with a disrupted sleep pattern since a disfiguring automobile accident 20 years prior.  She had major damage to her face, ribs, legs, spine and chest area from the accident.  She had many reconstruction surgeries as well. Her sleep pattern had been disrupted where she either had a difficult time getting to sleep, or woke up often every night.  She had not slept a solid 8 hours, uninterrupted, since before the accident.  IRT was performed to all areas of injury, reconstruction / surgical sites, and origin-insertion of the many muscles involved. She called the next morning and reported her first uninterrupted full night’s sleep in 20 years and has been sleeping well since.
