An 11 year old female patient presented with left groin (inguinal) pain, 1 week onset after a dance injury. Exam revealed pain on right/left Kemps test in the low back area and pain at the injury site with active hip flexion.  Passive hip abduction was 145 degrees on the left and 135 degrees on the right.  I performed IRT.  Her left Kemps test was now normal.  Right Kemps was 50% reduced in pain and pain on active hip flexion was reduced in pain by 50%.  Right and left hip abduction were now symmetrical at 145 degrees.  Further treatment with Touch and Tap Technique (Set Point Technique) and Origin & Insertion pressure with IRT produced complete pain relief on active left hip flexion.
